What to expect
When we come to your home
Our team arrives calmly and respectfully. We’ll give you as much time as you need to say goodbye, then carry your pet out gently, with a stretcher and the right equipment for larger pets.
If your pet is at the vet, let the clinic know you’ve chosen us. We collect from veterinary clinics and animal hospitals across Cook and Lake Counties at no charge.
How it works
Pickup, step by step
- 1 Tell us where your pet is Arrange online or call us between 8am and 8pm and let us know whether your pet is at home or at the vet.
- 2 We schedule a time We confirm a pickup time that works for you, at your home or your vet.
- 3 Gentle pickup We arrive with care, never rushed, and carry your pet out gently.
- 4 Back to you after cremation Once cremation is complete, collect your pet’s remains from either location for free, or have us deliver them for $75.

Do you pick up from emergency animal hospitals?
Yes. We collect from veterinary clinics and animal hospitals across Cook and Lake Counties, free of charge.
What should I do before you arrive?
Wrap your pet in a towel or blanket and keep them somewhere cool. Our guide to what to do when your pet dies has more detail.
Can you come on weekends or holidays?
Call us any day between 8am and 8pm, including weekends and holidays, and we’ll arrange the soonest pickup we can.
Wherever your pet is, we’ll come to them.
